The microphone will not start

Click Record voice and allow the browser microphone request. If you have already denied access, use the browser site settings to allow it, then try again. The address must use HTTPS; browsers restrict microphone access on ordinary insecure pages.

Check that the operating system also allows your browser to use the microphone. If several devices are connected, check which one the browser has selected. A connected headset can be selected even when its microphone is muted. You can cancel the request and choose an audio file instead.

A file will not open

Check the limits: 20 MB, 60 seconds, and one or two audio channels. A file extension alone does not prove that the audio inside is valid. Renaming an unsupported file to .wav does not convert it.

Try exporting a normal PCM WAV or MP3 from the application that created the recording. Formats such as M4A, OGG or WebM depend on browser support. If a file fails, the studio keeps the previous accepted clip; read the displayed filename before applying another effect.

The result is silent or difficult to hear

Press play on the result player. Browsers can block automatic audio, so the studio does not start playback for you. Check the player volume, operating-system volume and selected speakers or headphones. Only one of the comparison players plays at a time.

If the original is already silent, changing effects will not produce speech. Record again or choose another file. If only the processed version is hard to understand, lower intensity and mix. Extreme bitcrushing can remove quiet parts, and heavy filtering can make a voice sound thin.

Controls changed, but the sound did not

Press Apply effect after changing a setting. The previous processed player and download are cleared when settings change, so you do not accidentally save an older version. The original player stays available.

A preset restores its own starting settings. Choose the preset first, then make your adjustments. The intensity and mix controls are disabled for Original, Deep and Chipmunk because those choices use only the pitch-and-speed control.

Downloads, lost work and live calls

Use Download WAV when the result is ready. A browser download action does not confirm that your operating system has saved the file; check your downloads folder or the save dialog. On a phone, look in Files or the browser download list.

Working audio exists only in this tab. A refresh or closed page cannot be recovered here. Keep your original file and download good takes before leaving. A recipe link restores settings, not audio.

The studio exports clips. It does not route your browser output into Discord, a phone call or a desktop game. If that is the goal, you need a compatible live voice application or audio-routing setup rather than another setting on this page.
